Country Heat Weekly
Country Heat Weekly is a video-forward podcast created by Amazon Music to coincide with their Country Heat curated playlist. With roughly 80 episodes under our belt, this is the most expansive project I’ve had the privilege to be part of.
I served as director, camera op and editor, making sure all parts of the creative process ran smoothly, doing most of the work myself while hiring trusted creatives to come alongside me when needed. I was able to establish solid workflows and procedures to make our very quick turnaround schedules run smoothly.
This trailer doesn’t showcase nearly enough to do this production justice. Not pictured are many trips to CMA and ACM events, back stage interviews and a host of artists I’d love to include in this edit but don’t have space for. And despite not being a listener of country music, I’m very glad that I now have something to say about it.
